4 Well you can do it by hand but you'll notice that if you run
5 "regenworld" they'll be added to your world file again.

7 Just delete it manually from /var/lib/portage/world file and later
8 delete /var/log/emerge.log if you don't want they to be added to your
9 world file when running "regenworld" again.

11 If you want to install libraries or something that you don't want to be
12 in portage but you've to install it explicitly (is not a explicit
13 dependency), just do a "emerge --oneshot whatever", and it won't be
14 added to your world file.
