New in sys-apps/openrc-0.23.2 (AFAIK), /etc/init.d/modules adds the |

--verbose flag to modprobe, which means the modules are listed on the |

console as they're being loaded. This is not useful, and worse, it |

makes earlier boot messages scroll off the console and vanish forever |

(because this is too early for rc.log). |
