If it is font problems ... Mozilla is using a lot of MS TTF fonts.

Three font packages to try ...

# 1 "media-fonts/corefonts"
( MS TTF fonts )

# 2 "media-fonts/liberation-fonts"
( known to fix CUPS printing from Firefox problems )

# 3 "media-fonts/croscorefonts"
( MS compatible / replacements )

Let us know if this works.
