1 I did not, in fact, i can not recall doing anything that could cause any
2 problem (changing permissions, changing filesystem mounts, etc, etc).

4 On top of all, after a reboot, i attempted an emerge --sync and everything
5 went fine, the only difference is that this time i did the emerge on plain
6 ol' console instead of using the x session. I would like to retry the emerge
7 withing the graphic session, but i am afraid to be banned temporarily for
8 abusing portage syncs.
