Satisfying it is indeed! So far so smooth, it seems as though all
issues have passed. I only need to find something to convert my address
book from Evolutions vcard format to LDIF or the XML format of Claws
Mail. All I've found till now was an outdated script for Evolution 1.x
that didn't convert the Email Addresses correctly.

But regarding the actual Dovecot/Getmail combo, I'm happy! I can't
believe I didn't look into this until now. It really was easy. Dovecots
config file is thoroughly commented, too. So long, Evolution!
