I'm thinking of getting some 1GB Ram Module of the newest 667Mhz Memory.
Then I came into this article in the inquirer

[SNIP]
On one Intel booth, the demo showed how, at full speed, a 1 GB DDR2-667
SO DIMM in a "thin and light" notebook reached an awfully hot 85 degrees
Celsius case temperature
...
...certain temperature limit is breached, throttles the DIMM speed down,
say 50 per cent for instance in this case - from 667 MH to 333 MHz
effective throughput.

if this is the case, why the heck would I want to get a 1GB 667 Memory
Module which is like USD25 pricier than a 533 Mhz 1GB module? (This is
for a new Thinkpad X60, BTW)
