49 emerge is not careful about xdm.conf so you might have had correct
50 settings earlier and then a new emerge over wrote something when you
51 weren't looking.

53 inside xdm.conf you can choose xdm, kdm or gdm. I choose gdm as I use
54 Gnome and XFCE.
