3 as far as I know the VLC browser plugin allows you to play back media using
4 VLC. However in my opinion you don't need that. Firefox has its own
5 playback backend and hence it can play back media without the VLC plugin.

7 So I think you shouldn't run into any issues if you don't use npapi-vlc. To
8 my understanding Firefox bundles its own codecs unless specified otherwise
9 through USE flags.
