11 You have a lot of control over what grub-mkconfig does; there is not
12 anything auto-magical about it. ;-)

14 The configuration is controlled by /etc/default/grub and the generator scripts
15 are in /etc/grub.d. Yes a default is provided, but this is all
16 customizable.
