Hi Dan,

I am already in the video group...

And: When run as user, is starts but loading
an *.STP file crashes FreeCAD with:

FreeCAD 0.16, Libs: 0.16RUnknown

It ssems more odd than previously thought.... 

What is that 'swrast' thingy?
