I encountered a mysteriuos phenomenon: |

I am able to: |

Login as root on the console |

Execute "sudo" as well under the console as from a terminal under X11 |

(using IceWM, mrxvt) |
| 9 |
Executing "sudo" su (ok, that's kinda "recursive login", but...) |

I AM NOT ABLE TO: |

use su (standalone) as well under the console as from a terminal |
| 13 |
under X11. |
