Gentoo will take advantage of whatever the Linux Kernel takes |

advantage of. Gentoo will utilize all 8 cores as efficiently as the |

Linux kernel allows, and you will be able to run everything under 64 |

bits. I would recommend using the amd64 media and stages when |

installing Gentoo onto your system. |
