19 Is this the "Gentoo" way of setting this? I've always used .bashrc to

22 To the OP: I'm using Thunderbird and I didn't have to configure anything
23 special to get the AU date format. Just emerged it. But I had already
24 set LANG and LC_ALL when I built my system. Also, I use FVWM as my WM,
25 so I have no localization settings via KDE or Gnome or such; that may
26 affect things for you?
