Hello list, |

A word to the wise: |
4 |
|
5 |
I was caught out today when compiling a new kernel. I used to have a few code |
6 |
pages compiled as modules, as well as UTF-8 built in, but today I couldn't |
7 |
mount /boot for the new kernel because it needed ISO 8859-1 built in - the |
8 |
mount command didn't cause the module to be loaded. |
9 |
|
10 |
Now, of course, I have any likely code pages built in. |
11 |
|
12 |
Is this a bug or a feature of the 6-series gentoo-sources, or possibly just |
13 |
6.2.x? Anyway, I was going from 6.2.0 to 6.2.1 when I was tripped up. |
14 |
|
15 |
Hope that helps someone. |
