15 OK, the only way I can think of to get what you want is this:

17 1. disable the evolution built-in notification area applet (edit >
18 plugins > uncheck "mail notification"
19 2. install mail-notification (with at least the evo use flag.
20 You'll need at least v4.0 maybe even v4.1)
21 3. configure mail-notification. Start it once, then save your
22 gnome session and it will start next time you log in. Use
23 mailbox type "Evolution" and then you can select explicit
24 folders for which you want to be notified.
