1 This is far more a MySQL question than a Gentoo one. Have you located
2 a script called mysql_fix_privileges somewhere? I believe there was a
3 change in password format from the version you had and the upgraded
4 one. Maybe start the server with the OLD_PASSWORD parameter to test...

6 And check the version for Administrator, maybe you need an upgrade too.
