17 for a start it looks like the wrong GCC, last i read eix doesnt
18 compile with < gcc-3.4

20 make sure you have a more recent compiler selected with either
21 eselect-compiler or with gcc-config ( if you have a 4.0 or greater
22 available, i suggest you switch to that to guarantee eix to work )
