8 As it is only used to support non-portage installs, there isn't that much
9 work involved, usually only looking at the README, adding the relevant
10 packages to a set and emerging the set. Unless the out-of-tree packages
11 dependencies change, there's no real maintenance to do, unless portage
12 goes and upgrades a dep to a newer and incompatible version.
