There was recently a discussion about latest Apache upgrade witch I
invoke:

But something really constructive came out of this.
Alighieri suggestion:

in make.conf. Something like STABLE_LAG="10" which would treat packages
as unstable if marked stable within the past 10 days.

I think this is really good idea!  The only thing I could add is to make
distinction between security upgrades and regular upgrades.
