Hi, |
2 |
|
3 |
I recentlly reinstalled my pc and I had all my hw working fine. I rebooted the |
4 |
box (for udev) and now my sound card stop working. |
5 |
|
6 |
I compiled the driver into the kernel (not as module): |
7 |
SND_AC97_CODEC |
8 |
|
9 |
my lspci: |
10 |
0000:00:11.5 Multimedia audio controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. |
11 |
VT8233/A/8235/8237 AC97 Audio Controller (rev 40) |
12 |
|
13 |
I don't understand why my sound card stoped working without reason, dmesg just |
14 |
shows: |
15 |
Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.10rc1 (Mon Sep 12 08:13:09 |
16 |
2005 UTC). |
17 |
ALSA device list: |
18 |
No soundcards found. |
19 |
|
20 |
and when I restart alsa service: |
21 |
|
22 |
# /etc/init.d/alsasound restart |
23 |

36 |
|
37 |
any clue in this X file? |
38 |
|
39 |
Cheers! |
