1 The problem is, the new 2.6.13 kernels had removed devfs. Nothing
2 important, but it prevents LIRC (and other packages) to compile. Put

4 app-misc/lirc ~x86

6 in /etc/portage/package.keywords and get the newest version. It works
7 OK for me (with two remotes, one is a streamzap).
