There are a couple of exceptional cases to consider: |

1) Without --with-bdeps=y specified in the emerge options, build |

time dependencies are only pulled into the dependency graph for |

packages that are actually selected to be built. See the `man |

emerge` for documentation on that option. |

2) The dependency graph will not include packages that are listed in |

the output of `emerge --pretend --depclean`. |
