Hi,

As I run emerge --pretend xine-ui, I get the following output:

Calculating dependencies ...done!

[ebuild N ] media-libs/libogg-1.1.2
[ebuild N ] media-libs/libvorbis-1.1.0

I would like to avoid installation of kde and qt components on my machine
and I know that Xine can run OK without them. How can I do that? I specified
"-kde -qt" in my USE, but that does not change the output of "emerge
--pretend".

Also, as far as I know, "arts" is also optional. Alsa does the job. How can
I make emerge to do what I want?

Thanks.

Arkady.
