Looking through the files that openoffice-bin-2.0.0_rc3 installs, the |

majority of the files are installed to /usr/lib/openoffice/. IIRC, the |

1.x series uses /opt, so that should be ok. Everything else (icons, |

.desktop files, files in /usr/bin, etc) have the version in the file |

name, so you will not have a conflict with those. |

However, I can also tell you that I have been using the beta & RC builds |

for most of this year, and have not seen anything that would make me |
