1 Steam places the games in a directory called
2 Library. It is in the settings (no idea where is the default on Linux).

4 You can go there and either copy the whole folder out, or just rename it to
5 ensure it will not delete it and once you have reinstalled, just move the
6 directory back, or tell steam where your new directory is.
