| 1 | I'm trying to migrate some people away from active directory and I'm |
| 2 | trying to figure out if there is anything better than NIS for directory |
| 3 | service. I know folks are using LDAP but my last encounter with LDAP |
| 4 | left me with flashbacks of the carnage especially in the area of |
| 5 | replication and backup. |
