44 I'm pretty sure that stage 3 is all that is supported now. If you
45 really want to make sure you are optimized, do a minimal install, to
46 where you can boot and be stable, then do a emerge -e system then a
47 emerge -e world. That should get you the same thing as a stage 1 from
48 what I have read. Then install whatever else you need.
