recently an update to kaffeine via emerge was installed on my Gentoo |

PC. Since I am using no other DVBT-viewer I was happy for the update. |

But I was wrong. |

All channel settings were deleted and I had to rescan again - |
| 8 |
including removing unwanted ones... |
| 9 |

Then at least one channel is missing. |

And there is no sound and I do not find any settings which may be |

tweaked to get sound back. |

I rescan with this command from the command line: |

sudo scan-dvb -n -o zap -p /usr/share/dvb/dvb-t/<region file> >! mychannels.conf |

and grepped through the output: Far more channels and the missing one |

was also there. |

|

For all I did not change the hardware and there is only one |
| 22 |
DVBT-capable device in my PC. |

I dont want to use (s)mplayer or vlc to watch TV. |

How can I fix the problems with kaffeine? |
