20 Kurt, I see what you're saying about the perceived value of the ad
21 spots, but it seems to me sponsors aren't motivated to sponsor us by the
22 ads, because, for instance there are sponsors who have donated what has
23 to be thousands of dollars of machines/parts (Genesi, HP, AMD, nVidia
24 come to mind) who have not been given an ad spot (I don't know if this
25 is because they were offered one but didn't want it, or what), but in
26 the absence of an established policy, it seems issuance of the ad spots
27 is largely arbitrary, which would leave us dictating terms as it were ;)
28 so couldn't we dictate terms to make what Lance is suggesting possible,
29 which is a good idea and something that would improve usability of the
30 site?
