I'm afraid 2.6.5 is not the best one as I did several attempts to |

install 2004.1 on an external firewire disk and got some oops : see |

2004.0 (2.6.3 based I think) looked more stable and I'm going to |

retry installing Gentoo on my external firewire disk with that |

and later upgrade to a more recent kernel ebuild. |
