- One or several large customers express their need for support of the distribution |

I do not think there is much gentoo itself can do to gain commercial certifications other than: |

- Continue to improve the quality of the distribution |

- Have responsive contacts when commercial companies finally show interest |

It is unreasonable for anything but customer demand to be the driving factor. |

That said. I don't really find certifications itself that important. vmware, macromedia, dell, oracle, etc |

don't certify their products for gentoo - but they are aware of issues and most of them are easily resolved. |

The more we communicate our use of major applications on gentoo to vendors, the better off we will be. |
