3 Be aware that smbfs has not seen love in some time and is deprecated, so
4 at some point it will we ripped from the kernel. You'll also have
5 problems with newer versions of Windoze, wich CIFS is able to handle.
6 Plus, it does a good job in recovering server downs, which also was not
7 the case with smbfs.

9 In short: I can only give you the tip to migrate to CIFS.
