7 There's no need, the SMTP specification says that senders must retry
8 every message, and should continue retrying for at least 4 or 5 days:

12 Your incoming mail will arrive whenever the server comes back up. We
13 regularly reboot our MX in the middle of the day and no one notices.
14 Whatever solution you'd come up with to solve this problem will cause
