10 Could be. When I setup my RAID here, I specifically arranged for root
11 and a backup root snapshot to be directly on RAID partitions, because the
12 kernel can handle them directly with only a bit of stuff on the command
13 line (so in grub), no root on LVM as that would require an initramfs, and
14 I preferred to keep things simple, because simple isn't so likely to
15 break and is easier to fix if it does.
