12 Note that kmplayer can choose between backend engines as well. I use
13 kmplayer merged with USE=xine -mplayer -gstreamer, so with xine. If you
14 have more than one of those USE flags on, you can choose which engine it
15 uses at runtime.

17 FWIW, I've wondered about kaffeine but have simply never gotten around to
18 trying it. I did merge amarok the other day and was pleasantly surprised,
19 as my current solution, xmms, is eventually headed out of the tree and for
20 an overlay (according to recent threads on the dev list), but I still have
21 a lot of switching over to do before amarok is as comfortable to me as
22 xmms.
