7 That’s already happening, right here at Gentoo, with eudev and the
8 general effort to keep a totally systemd-free Gentoo as an option.

10 (I have run into trouble, though, due to systemd being in the 32-bit
11 compatibility binaries and installing pkg-config files. I suppose I
12 could just have emerge remove those files via a Portage hook.)
