You're right, the only thing is that openoffice uses the library interface of |

java. As such you need a 32bit for the 32bit openoffice. (2.0.4 is supposed |

to compile in 64 bits). A 32bit jdk could be installed manually, by use of a |

modified ebuild, or by using a binary package. |
