28 As for spreading from 2 to 6 channels if the 6 channels are visible in
29 Jack then you could easily do this graphically with QJackCtl or even
30 do the Jack connections in a script if you were interested. The issue
31 would be whether your audio apps support Jack and how well they
32 support Jack. The downside would be that it would likely end up being
33 an app by app solution which wouldn't be fun.
