13 I’ve found vanilla kernels to be much more reliable on my system than
14 Gentoo kernels (why I don’t know), and use sys-kernel/vanilla-sources
15 mainly for the above reason of not having to check kernel.org. Which
16 makes it slightly funny that, at the moment, I’m using 2.6.18.1 that I
17 downloaded myself from kernel.org. :)
