Not sure if this invocation format is coming from plugger or some other |

I'm suspicious of the sound card. I have a Creative SB Audigy 2 ZS which I |

ordered which has an emu10K2 with which I've had previous (positive) |

experience in Linux. |

I have a split output system here, which makes things a little complicated |

since I require that it work properly in Linux. Playback of CDs, wav, mp3 |

and other files from xmms and cd players gets routed to an external amp and |

a couple of small JBL studio control room monitors. The beeps and bops of |

gnome sounds indicating desktop actions get routed to a couple of cheap |

speakers built into my monitor. Getting this split system to work with a |

new card is always a PITA. |
