11 Yes, and i think that it was done for a reason. But nobody stops you
12 from requesting temporarily voice on #gentoo-dev and when you
13 contributions will be marked as significant - gentoo/contributor cloak,
14 that will give you permanent voice in #gentoo-dev.

16 You should understand that #gentoo-dev is channel for developer's
17 communication primarily and it is not so restricted, as you think.

19 For example, #gentoo-infra is totally restricted to developers only,
20 other interested parties should be added to channel ACLs explicitly or
21 should get invite there.
