16 SysRescueCD does not exist for the fringe architectures. When we
17 first built the install media, the only alternative that was
18 somewhat reliable was Knoppix -- which in turn had its own
19 problems during the x86/amd64 days. So we built our own.

21 I'll say it again: if we don't make install media anymore and
22 tell people to use SRCD instead, we will lose installation
23 support for at least alpha, ppc/64, hppa and ia64. As for sparc,
24 mips and arm, there _might_ be alternatives, but I'm not aware of
25 them.
