I implied this. I won't edit such xml files by hand on a regular basis. Even |

with such a tool it will need quite a bit more time, depending on what you |

want to put in these xml files. Regarding security vs bugfixes: For security |

we have glsa-check already and important bugfixes are handled via a marked |

stable -rX, so I don't see the problem here, beside that there is no |

extensive information given, which someone would need to write. |

I mean, we are not even able to fix all the metadata.xml files. A lot are |

simply missing, a lot name retired devs* as maintainer and quite a few list |

bug-wranglers or no-herd in it. Unless we do not have more developers it is |

not a good idea to force more overhead on us as necessary. |
