Libconf should come in handy for this problem (which I know from redhat's |

linuxconf). In general though these tools allways are more limited than |

the configuration files/configuration tools from the packages |

themselves. What I think is very important is that the tools will work |

with NORMAL configuration files and do not have magic-do-not-change |

sections. This makes the maintenance of the tool harder, but allows |

multiple tools to cooperate. |
