Under normal conditions I would tell you do: |

emerge rsync (or even better emerge --clean rsync if you did that step at some |

point already). Since you do not have Internet access at home you need to |

download portage tree and unpack it under /usr (so that /usr/portage is |
| 15 |
created). |
