1 i've added a makecheck local use flag to glibc... i didnt have plans to add
2 one elsewhere, but now that i've seen this thread i guess that i should.

4 make check for glibc 2.3.4.20040602 currently fails with nptl enabled on
5 amd64, but if you want to test out this new flag, USE="makecheck -nptl"
6 emerge =sys-libs/glibc-2.3.4.20040602. i'd also like to note that this glibc
7 release has support for only installing the locales that you want, but that
8 this functionality is disabled when doing a makecheck so that all the locales
9 that it needs to succeed are installed.
