I would appreciate to have this on 2004.2 Feature Request list. Most of |

the gentoo users I know personally tell me: "The worst thing for any new |

Gentoo users is etc-update". Reducing the amount of config files they |
35 |
have to cope with should be _very_ helpful. It would also lower the load |
36 |
of "I wiped my /etc/"-reports on forums.g.o and IRC when people only |
37 |
have to go for a handful of updates instead of dozens. The chance they |
38 |
just hit "-5" might be smaller. |
