32 I would appreciate to have this on 2004.2 Feature Request list. Most of
33 the gentoo users I know personally tell me: "The worst thing for any new
34 Gentoo users is etc-update". Reducing the amount of config files they
35 have to cope with should be _very_ helpful. It would also lower the load
36 of "I wiped my /etc/"-reports on forums.g.o and IRC when people only
37 have to go for a handful of updates instead of dozens. The chance they
38 just hit "-5" might be smaller.
