I've thought long and hard about this and have decided not to run for
the council. I want to be able to devote time to doing actual code
writing than reading every comment on the mailing lists. Additionally
like many of the US based council members in the past, the meeting
times are poorly scheduled for me as they are right in the middle of
the work day which would require me to ignore my job for an hour (and
now potentially more since people keep wanting to extend the
meetings).

I appreciate all the support from everyone and I wholeheartedly
enjoyed my tenure on the council. I wish everyone the best of luck in
the upcoming election. Maybe next year I'll return.

Expect to see more upstream work from me (i.e. the virtualization work
I've been doing of late and Build Bot) and have those changes come to
Gentoo.
