I think you are right. #gentoo-bugs would be perfect for this. However, I |
22 |
don't find it in the list below, which is taken from www.g.o. |
23 |
|
24 |
#gentoo General Discussion |
25 |
#gentoo-dev Development Only Discussion |
26 |
#gentoo-user Low-bandwidth chat |
27 |
#gentoo-server Server related chat |
28 |
#gentoo-laptop Laptop related chat |
29 |
#gentoo-embedded Embedded Gentoo Linux |
30 |
#gentoo-hardened Hardened Gentoo Linux |
31 |
#gentoo-java Java related chat |
32 |
#gentoo-games Game Discussions/Support |
33 |
#gentoo-cluster Gentoo Linux/Clustering |
34 |
|
35 |
When i first came to IRC, I joined #gentoo. I had a look at #gentoo-user, but |
36 |
it's not in use. It may as well be dropped as "low-bandwidth" is too generous |
37 |
a description. I did sit in #gentoo-bugs for a little while (don't know how I |
38 |
found out about it) but it seemed to be just a place for people to listen out |
39 |
for bug-wranglers. |
40 |
|
41 |
Anyway.. if #gentoo-bugs was used as a user development channel, it would give |
42 |
the initiative-endowed users a chance to see the bulk of a |
43 |
distribution's/developer's workload. Perhaps #gentoo-bugs should just be |
44 |
added to the above list. Any other people support this? |
45 |
|
46 |
Regards, |
