8 I never said anything about backporting fixes. I'd leave that to the
9 package maintainer(s) in question as to do what they think is best.
10 Obviously there will be exceptions to any rule. If it makes sense to fix
11 current bugs by upgrading to an enhancement release, that's largely up to
12 the package maintainer.

14 The bottom line is to do what's right for the package and the profile in
15 question. I would imagine any circumstance requiring backporting patches
16 to be rare.
